 These generators produce electrochemically activated water, where the activation process only uses water, salt and electricity to produce a powerful natural disinfectant: • Anolyte where the active substance is active chlorine, and a detergent: • Catholyte where the active substance is sodium hydroxide, better known as caustic soda. These solutions are very effective in eliminating bacteria, spores, fungi, viruses, yeast and mold, as well to be harmless when in contact with people. With conventional chemical sanitation, many micro-organisms develop a tolerance or resistance to conventional chemicals as a result of continuous exposure. Electro-chemically activated water, has a unique mechanism of biocidal action which is distinct from that of chemicals. It has been repeatedly shown that micro-organisms cannot build up a tolerance to this technology. The applications are many and we at HL.Skjong are proud to offer a 100% natural and efficient cleaning and disinfectant as well as a viable alternative to chemical cleaning and disinfection in the food industry. The product is approved for disinfection in product types PT1, PT2, PT3, PT4 and PT11. HL.Skjong is subject to the approval of ENVIROLYTE Industries International Ltd and is therefore an approved distributor of both generators and ready-to-use liquids in accordance with Article 95 (1) of Regulation (EU) No 528/2012.
